Drones: delivering happiness to golfers
Lunar Aerial Imaging is set to capture footage and stills even closer to people, buildings and vehicles having been awarded the OSC licence by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). This non-standard permission has so far been granted to only a small number of professional drone companies and licensees have to prove to the CAA that they have the skills and experience to fly safely in difficult environments.

So for those of you who don’t know already, we have a new addition… the DJI Inspire RAW, with all the current possible upgrades! What a babe. It is a reliable, slick, small, easy to use machine that provides us with the 4K RAW aerial video and the RAW hi definition aerial photographs our customers expect. Lunar Aerial Imaging is particularly geeking out over the following benefits.
Many people hear the word drone and feel anxious. They have been in the press a bit recently – flying near airplanes, falling out of the sky.
It doesn’t have to be like that and it shouldn’t be like that. The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has strict rules and guidelines so things like this don’t happen.
Not so long ago a passerby referred to us as “dronies”. Well, that was the first time anyone had used that term to describe us and weren’t sure how to respond; we simply gritted our teeth, forced a smile and gave a friendly wave. What else could we have done?
Now Lunar Aerial Imaging doesn’t have a real problem with the word; indeed it’s a great descriptor for all the hobbyists out there and we remember that all that time ago we started out as hobbyists. We respect them and think the word dronie is an accurate and affectionate way of referring to them. Let’s get this on the record: we love dronies (as long as they keep to the rules).
The use of drones for filming and photographing weddings is a growing trend as people see how they can capture the day's atmostphere. Here are 10 tips and things to consider when booking a drone for your wedding.

He is a former yacht captain who has sailed the world. It was while working on superyachts that he discovered his passion for drones and developed his skills flying a range of machines over water from the deck of a moving vessel.

Well done Collette, who won a half-day drone shoot in our business card prize draw at today’s ProlificNorthLive Expo at the Lancashire Cricket ground in Trafford.
And what a day it was. This was our first trade show since starting the business in 2015. It was a gamble; we applied for a stand at the last minute and weren’t at all sure how it would all work out. In the end we had some pop-up banners printed and used these along with two drones and a 50” screen to draw attention to ourselves.
We were more than happy with the stream of really friendly people visiting us, asking about the drones, and drone photography, and enthusing over the show reel on the screen.
Hopefully we’ll get to work with some of those visitors in the near future. They seemed to have some really creative ideas and we would love to be involved.
And if anyone wants to know more about Collette their website address is www.oneagencymedia.co.uk.
